Ode to a PC

Got sod all done this weekend, not even the stuff I'd made time for. Once again my PC started acting the sod and once again my first course of action was to reinstall windows rather than check to see if the RAM had slipped it's moorings again.
It had, I am a fool.

I don't know what keeps causing it, the first time I think it was just carelessness by IT direct, the second time maybe I didn't do it right but I know this time I definitely lodged the tabs back in place firmly, so we'll see in a month or so (which seems to be how long it takes to start causing problems). It's definitely not windoes causing trouble though since it wasn't installing right until I fixed the RAM and I'm guessing it has something to do with vibrations from within the machine, the DVD-ROM gives it quote a shake. I might check some other screws in it to make sure the rest of the moving parts are fixed firmly in place.

And no, the day I DDR is the day you can all check me into a mental home :)
