It seems odd to me that on the first day that metalrabbit is back to work (which I still have some time off remaining) the neighbours start using hammers, drills and chainsaws. It fits neatly into the history thus far that all of my time off coincides with construction work done nearby wheras metalrabbit almost never has to deal with it.

Finished watching "in the mouth of madness" a short time back, it's not a bad little movie, some interesting ideas (good for about two pages of notes). I reckon I might brave the rain outside and wander up to the pub for a coffee and a smoke instead of hanging around here in distraction city. Still can't find the old core rules for Unholy Wars, I figure they only exist on my work PC for definite now, none of my mail accounts or website folders has it, even then I'm not certain about my work PC. Still, no doubt Ian has altered the system to be unrecognisable by now anyway... but the skills list... God.. that was sixty pages on its own....

I've run a few horror scenarios, though they tend to be more of the schlock horror variety, once or twice in SLA I did some creepy shit but by and large my personal preference is cinematic action type stuff. I find horror to be quite hard to get right as a rule. Though now I think about it, it may well be down to the kind of music I listen to when I write these things, I tend to listen to movie soundtrack type stuff which is rarely all that sinister.
