Okay, some people need to get a grip, the latest rationalisation for europe's opposition to the "liberation" of Iraq is that everyone was as high as kites at the time :)

Well, it is the Weekly World News, I suppose we can be glad they aren't calling for the US to invade the drug addicted Europeans.

That was what really got me about it, yahoo news reports it, the DEA (apparantly) agreeing with it (I say apparantly because there are quoted sections where it isn't clear whether it's the WWN article or the DEA source speaking)

I found this bit ironic in light of everything that's coming to light about the lack of truth behind the invasion of iraq:

"It's disturbing to think that leaders of our society may now have the capacity for judgment of a crack addict," says a member of the team.
"And their money is to blame."

The rationalisation that Bush uses when it comes to his decision making process is that he is able to communicate with god.

I know which one I find scarier, and it's not the drugs on the Euro coins.

By the way, I wonder if perhaps studies on the US dollar would yield traces of blood?

Course not, the banks and large american firms are all clean as whistles with pure white hands... oh yes.

What I find odd is that I could have sworn that the first time I heard about this study (a month or two back) it was american currency they were talking about since so much of it passes through the hands of drug dealers across the world. A few euro notes being used to snort coke wouldn't suggest the same widespread problem.
