I was thinking

My whole "I want to open a bookshop and own a hamster" dream is an expensive one really, or half of it is anyway. The hamster is easy enough, as long as I can find one with the orange and while coloration so I don't feel like an idiot for calling it "Boo" (The name of a hamster belonging to an insane ranger/barbarian in the games Baldur's Gate 1&2) but the whole bookshop thing is rather expensive.
I was out in blackrock fair over the weekend and I got to thinking about trying to open a stall there as a smaller version of the venture so I could get a good idea of what does and doesn't sell (and not be stuck with a massive load of stock of the latter) and try and raise some cash over a year or two to move onto bigger premises... that would be the overall plan anyway, subject to changes in the timetable or complete cancellation.
I'm thinking:
Buy and sell second hand sci-fi, fantasy, horror and gaming books.
Miniatures from anywhere but Games workshop.
Larp props, not latex swords and the like, wizard books, wands, robes, staves and such. I saw a nice notebook out there that had a wooden cover, made from leaves and wood and stuff and I was thinking you could do the same thing with glass, metal and other stuff for different types of mage for example. Magic rings would be another option... that kind of stuff.

Gaming stuff basically, but not stuff that would be exclusively used for gaming if you get my drift.

Good idea/Bad idea?
