There are some lines no documentary narrator should have to say. One of them is "Greg knew he was in serious trouble, so he decided to operate - on himself".

The man whose arms exploded. Slightly gross.

How slightly is slightly? I watched the first few seconds but couldn't go on in case we actually saw his arms explode. Or his post-explosion arms being worked on.

Though mind you, just his pumping bicep bit at the beginning is pretty gross. His arms didn't need to explode for you to know that that's just *wrong*!

Nothing particularly graphic so much as goddamned creepy. His home video is the worst bit and it doesn't show anything much. As a general rule of thumb I'm of the opinion that anything more than say... Lee Adama in Battlestar Galactica (as a rough shape/mass guide) is overdeveloped, there is no reason on god's clean earth why anyone would ever need to have muscles that large except to achieve their lifelong dream of being a god damned freak. As a species our maximum physical need is to be able to
a) Outrun a dinosaur
or
b) Climb up a tree so we can ambush a dinosaur.

Anything above that is unnecessary and creepy.

Very much agree with you. Though I don't know who Lee Adama is :)

Wikipedia sees all and knows all. You don't watch Battlestar Galactica? Have you handed in your nerd license?

I saw the first one I think, then missed several and catching up was always too difficult. I kept meaning to download the first half of season 1, or borrow DVDs from friends or whatever. Then suddenly it was lie, the third or fourth season or whatever it is, and catching up is virtually *impossible*

Its about a third of the way into season three at the moment. The first season is twelve episodes, the second is 23 (or 24). There isn't a tremendous amount of catching up to do. I have all the episodes in avi format if you want to grab them sometime.

Hey look, I still haven't watched all of Lost season 2 yet. I don't sit and watch things for hours at a time. I waste my life on the internet instead :P

Wikipedia is also terribly terribly opinionated I'll grant you.
