Things that are happening to me:
followthebird and I are headed to Boston in October - I understand this is where you colonists keep the history. I look forward to having one of your airport security apes stick their fingers up my ass to the elbow because of something I said five years ago. Also, I rejoined the Gym in UCD since they're doing a year for 170 earth euros - thats about $220. Consequently and appropriately I can barely feel my arms past the elbow. I'll feel them tomorrow though, oh yes.
It seems to be that time of year again for me generally - the time when I start doing things, or at least finishing the things I started in the last year or so. I have a pain in my bollocks trying to get my 3D work to behave in a manner I deem appropriate but I'm slowly approaching "not a complete newbie" status. I'd also like to get a couple of pages of that comic done in the next few weeks - hobbies that don't rely entirely on a computer could be handy for the flight at least.

They're not crack squirrels are they? I hear those guys are everywhere.

Maybe its autumnal... I got this urge in july last year but the weather wasn't as hot all summer. I would've done it earlier only I think activity AND 30 degree heat would have killed me.

Oh hey hey - What do u need to join gym in UCD?
Is there a non-rugger-bugger time, also? :>

All the time seems to be non rugger-bugger time actually, theres a pitch outside where they play so the gym itself - the exercise machines really, are open for use by all. I've only used the machines and weight rooms though so I don't know if there *are* any other facilities like steam rooms, let alone whether they're occupied by hairy "macho" men/women.

All you need is a hundred and seventy quid and the ability to remember your name, age, address and medical history. That said, the 170 euro thing lasts until 10pm tomorrow night, after that I'm not sure what it goes back up to but it'll still be cheaper than anywhere else even after the end of the offer.
Oh and a towel, but they sell towels there, the loveliest, softest, fluffiest towels you'll ever have.
