Prediction #1: Within the year a reality TV show will allow viewers (or indeed non viewers) to vote for the challenges that will be faced by the contestants the following evening. I furthermore predict that most savage and unpleasant ones will consistently be chosen.
Prediction #2: This has already happened and I didn't know because I only watch the Daily Show, Brainiac (and not that spinoff shite neither), the Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle any more

Regards both predictions, I don't watch it myself, but I'm told that's how American BB works... Or similar shows of that ilk.

Specky's reality TV prediction #x - We will, at some stage in the not too distant future, see someone killed, live on TV in the name of sensationalist viewing. Then "we'll" [1] have the choice of continuing on down the path of liberalism and thrill seeking towards The Dirty Sanchez Friday Night Show instead of the Late Late, or taking a sharp right turn down the road to conservatism and an imposed morality.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't see "continuing the way we are" as a very popular option in a media world that's getting ever more competitive and desperate to grab the few viewing minutes the consumer has left these days.

[1] when I say "we" I'm referring to "us" the population rather than "me" and the cohort of folk who don't watch the telly.
