I had a thing where I was hoping that the jackass cyclist who decided that lights happened to other people would, through a series of wacky misadventures, get cut in half by a train but I'm trying to be serene for a while. People are clowns, I need to get over it.
Anyway, for your perusal, Paul Daniels' Ebay Purchases. The blog that goes beyond stalking!

Edit: The coolest thing you'll see today comes courtesy of specky_ie. Also, can someone explain to me the massive discrepancy between the number of applicants for the garda reserve (upon which I will not comment, calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean) reported in the morning papers yesterday? The metro said 125 had applied on the first day. The herald said 400. I'm confused and I'm interested in finding out the magnitude of the bad idea.

That Paul Daniels blog is.... creepy. All the more creepy for the breezy writing style. The author is going to be the star of a "...before turning the gun on himelf" story some day. I can tell.

Did these people exist before the internet?

Yes, and back in those days they were worthy of appearing on things like Esther Rantzen's "Thats Life!". Now they're on the internet we can see them for the human-skin-wearing serial killers they really are. Same goes for people on youtube who make videos of themselves miming songs.

I don't know if it's just me, but since they stopped making "That's Life" I just don't seem to be able to find amusingly shaped parsnips anymore.

Paul Daniels remains unusually shaped, however.

The guy "Doc Cox" from the show had rather a good band. I saw them play in The Swan on Fulham Broadway a few times. I don't know if anything of his was unusually shaped or not.

Carrots shaped like wangs are always funny but it helps if there are people around who will recoil in fright if you brandish it at them

If you brandished your carrot shaped wang at me I would recoil in fright.

Fight Science...

HELL YES RIGHT NOW PLEASE.

I will be setting my MythTV to Stun when it airs (assuming I get NG). Do you guys get Nat'l Geographic? If not, I can record it and keep it around for when you guys visit.

I'd love to see some special effects guru set up one of those crash test dummies to take a swing at the martial artist. Now that'd be funny...

"We got data!" - one of the scientists sounds a bit over-excitable :)

I'm really surprised that they didn't put more shots of the one chick martial artist in. I guess she's probably not pretty enough to make a big deal of.
