There is something both annoying and delightful about discovering that everything you've struggled with for the past three weeks has been rendered (pardon the pun) entirely redundant by a new feature of the software you use. Where my old process involved farting about with ambient and specular colours, multiple renders and some merging of the images in photoshop it turns out that some mad genius has put together a script that does it all in one go and much better than my old method could have *ever* hoped for.

Wendy again.

Okay, it isn't *perfect*, her hair is a little grey and her nose is a tiny bit shiny but thats nothing. I just need to tweak some settings. Also, forgive the pose, slightly more natural, slouched, hands-in-pockets poses are thin on the ground in what passes for the community so I'll be building them as I go I suppose.

Edit: This version has her bellybutton back I notice.

Anyway, it is late so I'll refrain from doing up the other characters to see how they look (partly because they're still decidedly lacking in clothes and I can't seem to find the Doctor's file anywhere and every time I hit on a new method I have to rebuild the character from scratch anyway) but if thats any indicator then I should be very happy.

Are the eyes supposed to be grey, as well?

Damnit... no they're not. Easily enough fixed though - I managed to sort out the hair fairly easily enough.
