So the Irish minister for arts and culture issued a statement last night congratulating the irish eurovision team on their win.
Whats wrong with these people? is it THAT hard for him to pay attention to his job? and what do arts and culture have to do with the eurovision anyway?

Oh wait, I just read your post again - have they actually said "Our bad, the web guy made a mistake"? and replaced it with "Gratz Lordi!!" one or can it still be implied that Minister Sparky is a bit of a tool?

Note to self: Get job writing statements for minister. Get into position of trust or get job with minister too lazy to check/write his own statements. Issue statement in his name declaring his love for ladyboys in Brazil.

Y'know, I couldn't care less about Brian Kennedy as a singer... or a human being but... it must be really hard for him and other "singers" and "songwriters" on his level to go into this contest knowing that they're chosen for the way they have the best chance of not winning but not losing too badly - of being decidedly mediocre in a decidedly mediocre contest.

At least until Lordi upped the stakes. I can't wait for Ireland's attempt at monster rock next year :)
