I'm guessing it isn't ethical to kill the bird across the road from my bedroom window just so I can get a decent nights sleep for once? Fucker hasn't stopped "ENH ENH ENH!!"ing between 1am and 6am ONCE in the past four nights.

I have no idea, I was content to huddle further under the duvet and stuff things in my ears to drown it out a little. Finding out the species didn't really occur - but since you mention it, why not? :)

Ah yeah, they're at the back of the house. No, this one is nothing I've ever heard before. Bet it turns out to be the size of my thumb.

I'm sure it depends on what it is and whether or not there's good eatings in it, and whether or not it's got young!

If it had young then it was keeping them awake too and matricide would not be the crime it ordinarially is.

yes, but I may also need a trebuchet - a little one mind you. Those birds are wily and high up.

Try to content yourself with the massive, massive amounts of creatures and indeed entire species wiped out by your lifestyle, and that some of them might be keeping you awake too if they were alive, and with just one tenacious birdie to worry about you're a lot better off sleepy-wise than you'd be without the genocide carried out on your behalf.

No, that doesn't help at all, now I'm wondering why that bird isn't amongst all the things my lifestyle has destroyed.
