If you read all the comments, it would appear it isn't. Pity really.

Apparently there's no Butlins in Devon, and the Samaritans recruiting 600 extra staff is a bit OTT too.

Yeah, the site looks legit enough and the 600 samaritans might be hyperbole but damn... if it isn't eminently believable.

When I said "as written by blearyboy I do mean, he was the one who wrote the article. He's quite pleased that it's fooled so many (not just here - it's been picked up and reposted a lot.)
