I am aware that some of you live in the USA, I am also aware that some of you have seen the season two "Lost" premier.
What *you* might not be aware of is that the slightest *hint* of a spoiler not firmly entrenched behind a cut tag will result in me hunting you to the ends of the earth to kill you in a spectacularly brutal fashion before I send you to hell. Deciding to act on the notion that it would be "funny" to post fake spoilers in the comments here merely will get you punched in the crotch.

There are spoilers in the comments of my morning post, but none in the text of the post itself. And in the post, there is a warning that there are spoilers in the comments. *nod*

See, thats what I call "firmly entrenched" and that is good. Unfortunately there are all too many tools on the internet that seem to think that being disappointed in or disliking the series, or what was done with a character is some kind of justification for saying "This is crap, I can't believe they did X", like they're doing us a service by giving it away. Some horrible excuse for a human did exactly that a while go on some boards I read and ruined Carnivale (I think) on me.

Yup, so needless to say it was just cancelled.

I enjoyed what little I saw of it anyway, its yet another one of those shows where missing an episode (particularly the first one) can leave you a bit adrift in the plot. Its strange and unpleasant but cleverly written and has great characters and circus freaks.

A good chunk of it yeah, its one of those series I keep meaning to get back to and watch from start to finish. So far though I've been distracted by series that concluded all their story arcs in a reasonably satisfactory manner (X files, and Millennium even though it got cut badly short) and haven't had the chance.
Stories that end without resolution tend to annoy me, that might be another reason I've not watched American Gothic, the unanswered questions would drive me spare.
