A quick review from this time last year:
I had my pay review where I was praised from on high. I was then informed that pay increases were no longer policy but instead we had quarterly bonuses based on the company and my performance.
I got one of those bonuses backdated since the review was late. I can't remember for sure, but I'm almost certain that I got about 100 quid extra that month instead of the 600 or so because it was all taxed to shit and back. Three months later I got a proper bonus and three months after that (a week before bonuses were due) the bonus scheme was cancelled.
Then I found out that I was pretty badly underpaid to begin with and I realised that with the constant mismanagement that was going on, (for a while there was no manager, then we got the thing we have now) no one had been able to get any training, in anything.
So, I have the review coming up in the next fortnight and the only thing getting me through the days now is the thought of handing over my notice (possibly consisting only of a picture of my bare arse) in response to this year's hearty face slap.
In other news, those two new guys for AO should be on this weekend, it should soon be possible to get the mandatory six people for a guild.
