A new record

It's the day before payday and I still have fifty quid left to my name - so it's official, I earn too much money to sustain myself in the fashion to which I have become accustomed. Normally, by today I have to walk into work without having anything to eat until I get home that evening when I discover that all I have left is trifle and some cough syrup.

But that's not the case this month, the best I can hope for is that I go into town and accidentally spend too much on books or something and not have enough to get lunch or a bus home but I know full well I'm going to find spare change in my pocket come half past five, or God help me, enough for a taxi home.

It's going to be even worse next month, what with me getting another week's worth of pay in overtime and even allowing for the fact that cork has a brilliant games and comic store and I'll be down there twice this month (at least) I'm just worried that by this time next month I'm going to be sitting on a bus, well fed and rested.

To Do

I currently have on my desk a bundle of 50 blank DVDs and a DVD burner on the way to me mid next week. Naturally the burner will only be used for legitimate purposes such as backing up all the crap sitting around on my computers.

Anyone got any DVDs I can borrow?
