I just got myself a haircut and I don't mind saying I look pretty damned good after it. It's the first time in a while that a visit to the barbers hasn't resulted in me looking like I've shaved my head and perched a gerbil on top.

Now it's time to find that bleach and get camouflage the grey.

The problem with haircuts though is that you have turn right around and have another one. I had a haircut last hmm..July of 2000 when I moved to the States and needed to look suitish while job hunting. Honestly could not say how long it is..at least an inch or two away from the belt I would say. As for the grey..I earned it thank you.

It's not an intentional part of it but I find that bleaching my hair is a good way for me to gauge when I need a haircut. Once there's more brown/red/grey/yellow (my hair is naturally multicoloured) than there is bleached blonde, it's time for the chop.

As for the grey - if I could do it properly instead of in patches at the side of my head then I might let it go. I'm not vain about much but I refuse to look like someone splashed peroxide on my head :)
