Hmm... a piece of art that involves an animatronic sparrow designed to look like it is dying, trapped between two panes of glass. Supposedly the idea is to highlight the fact that the cockney sparrow (think Dick van Dyke in mary poppins) is a dying breed in England.

Is it just me or does art seem to be getting more and more like the cryptic crossword clues in the times these days?

I guess they wanted it to be about the "art" as opposed to being accused of being a rip off of that sheep in formaldahyde thing from a few years back.

Maybe this is the beginning of a movement away from weird nasty shit in art and back to pompous arseholes making obvious statements through complex media.
